We know managing your beverage purchases can be stressful, so we started our wholesale program to help businesses like yours.

We offer an amazing selection of items that have been tailored to supply you with the best offerings for your retail establishment.

As you start the wholesale ordering process with us, we wanted to provide you with some instructions on how to place your orders and answer some questions that might frequently come up during the process.
How do I place a wholesale order with Speedy Stop Spirits?

The fastest way to place your wholesale order is to call the store directly at 361-333-1932

Please have the item description, item size, and quantity you need ready when you call. 
The manager will take your order over the phone to begin the process.

What if the store doesn’t have the items that I requested?

We try to keep a diverse selection of inventory on hand, so that we can fulfill every order as requested. However, there may be times when items are out of stock. Our store team will contact you if we cannot fulfill your entire order. We will not substitute any items for similar or comparable items unless we have your approval to do so before the order is completed.

Do you have online ordering?

Unfortunately, we do not offer online ordering at this time.

Do you require a minimum quantity for each order?

There are no minimum order quantities for items picked up at the store.

Do you only offer liquor for wholesale purchases?

No.  We also offer beer, wine, glassware, paper goods, mixers, and more!

Do you offer delivery?

Yes!  We offer delivery Monday – Saturday between 10:00am and 8:00pm.  Orders placed before 3:00pm can be fulfilled and delivered within the same day.  Orders placed after 3:00pm are not guaranteed for same day delivery and may be pushed into the following day.  The store team will provide you with an estimated delivery window when your order is placed.

What is the minimum order requirement for delivery?

For delivery, we do require a minimum order quantity of at least nine bottles or one case for
liquor purchases and at least 10 cases for beer purchases. 

Delivery is free to all wholesale customers that meet these minimum order requirements and have a valid address in Victoria County.

How soon will my order be ready for pickup/delivery?

Please allow a minimum of one hour for all pick-up orders to be fulfilled.

We will contact you as soon as your order is ready!

What counties do you offer wholesale services in?

We can sell to establishments with MB (Mixed-Beverage) Permits in the same county where we are also permitted to sell.  Right now, this only applies to establishments in Victoria County.

Will I have to sign for my order upon pick-up or delivery?

Yes.  All invoices must be signed by the retailer when the product is picked up or delivered to acknowledge receipt of the alcohol.  No deliveries will be left on site without a retailer present.

How do I pay for my alcohol invoices?

All wholesale customers must be setup on EFT terms with our company before wholesale orders can be made.  Payment for alcohol invoices will follow the requirements under the TABC Cash and Credit Laws.  We will automatically draft payment for open invoices from the bank account we have on file for your company.  Purchases of beer and malt beverages will be drafted within 24 hours after possession has been taken by the retailer.  Payments for liquor purchases made from the 1st through the 15th day of a month are due by the 25th day of that same month.  Payments for liquor purchases made from the 16th day through the last day of the month are due by the 10th day of the following month.

A payment is late if it is not received on or before the date that payment is due.  We are required to report to TABC any retailer who submits an insufficient or untimely payment.

Will I receive a discount on my wholesale purchases?

Wholesale discounts are price reductions given to customers that are buying large quantities of products.  These discounts will vary depending on order volume, current market prices, and mix of items purchased.  Our goal is to find the right mix of products for you at the most competitive prices available.

Can I exchange products that I have purchased or receive a credit/refund?

No.  However, we can replace alcoholic beverages with the same or similar products, provide that one of the following circumstances occurred: (1) product was damaged upon or prior to delivery by the wholesaler; (2) product was unfit for consumption upon delivery to the retailer; (3) TABC may determine that a consumer safety issue occurred during the product’s manufacturing process. 

If one of these scenarios applies, we can issue a refund or credit within 48 hours after the delivery date.
